This saying might sound weird and not very clear to those who don't think deeply about what our passion or love for something or even someone can do to us , as human beings and as people with a certain personality and a special outcome on life .

Loving can change you , it can be the only thing that keeps you alive and it can be the one thing that can damage you for the rest of your life . When you love , you don't plan on getting hurt , in fact you don't plan any part of the process of loving or falling in love , it just happens .

But somehow deep down even though we don't predict the future and we know nothing about what is supposed to happen ... Yet we still have this instinct that this thing or this person is about to ruin you for good .

And then it is up to us . Can we handle the heartbreak and follow our brain for once ? Or will the heart always be the winner to every battle ?

Only you can decide and only you know how to support either your brain or your heart .

And you might think that I am wrong and that you don't choose to have this , that you just simply can't resist your heart .

But that is the thing .. It is that you can resist your heart if you want to ... Just like you keep yourself from fighting with your teacher so you won't get detention .

But if you don't want to fight against what your heart wants ... If you are ready to surrender because you actually want to follow your heart even though it will leave you in pieces then that's when the brain has lost any small chance of winning .

Then a while after that happens the usual , you break , you fall and once again trusting your heart has failed you and you are now completely destroyed by the one thing you admire the most ...

Sorry Brain for always leaving you behind . I wish I trusted you then to keep me safe ...

I should have known better than to trust my heart with my safety when it can't even protect itself ...
