There Once was a girl with high , oh so high dreams .. 

She believed they could come true , oh so easily ... 

Till she met the harsh reality .. 

She felt depressed every single day .. 

Thinking about how she would kill to be somewhere where she belonged .. 

Rather than a place she definitely couldn't stand ... 

Life wasn't easy on her .. 

And her soul made it even harder . 

She tortured herself more and more , each passing day .

Then on the start of the new year ... 

As cheesy as it could've been , 

She decided that enough was enough .. 

It was time for a change .. 

So as the clock hit 12 ... 

And whilst everyone around her was dancing to the beat of the music ... 

She closed her eyes and prayed ... 

To be happy and live her life to the fullest .. 

With no fear of what is to come . 

She promised that she would love life , 

But most importantly , love herself . 

And although , there have been times where she almost lost it all ... 

Yet there she is again , standing on her two feet ... 

Nothing was able to knock her down , in the depth of it all .. 

She finally managed to be strong . 

Weird as she always considered herself a weak woman with no confidence at all ... 

Now , she is in love ... 

Oh so in love , 

With who she has become ... 

Yes , she might have changed , 

Stopped hanging out with the same group of friends .. 

But in life , 

We have to let go of some people , 

In able to be who we want to be ..

We might never truly find ourselves .. 

But we can always become a better version of who we are ...

So if she could do it ... 

If she could move on and start fresh ..
